Assessments and TestsAssessment Only Route to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)DescriptionApplication £80 – Assessment of information pack, including; Head teacher endorsement, timetables, qualifications and experience Stage 1 – £300 – Formal interviews with candidate and relevant school staff Stage 2 – £900 – school visit with observations, quality assurance of evidence, recommendations for route commencement, University registration to route if all criteria is met. Stage 3 – £970 – Final assessment in school including observations, quality assurance of final evidence and recommendation for Qualified Teacher Status.
(Stage 1 and 2 may be combined with a full day school visit) On-campus Equivalency Assessments - Maths/English/ScienceDescriptionThese assessments give you the opportunity to demonstrate that you have Maths/English/Science skills which are sufficient to study a course at the University of Wolverhampton. These assessments do not provide you with a GCSE qualification. You may still be required to obtain GCSE in Mathematics/English/Science in the future.

Each assessment costs £35 Frequently Asked QuestionsQ. How long will I have to complete my assessment? A, Each assessments takes two hours. Q. What do I need to do on the day of my assessment? A. You must arrive at reception in the Wulfruna Building at City Campus before the assessment start time listed above. You will be required to sign in and will then be directed to the assessment room. Q. Do I need to bring anything with me? A. You should bring a form of photo ID ( e.g. passport, driving license, identity card) with you on the day. If you arrive late or do not bring a form of photo ID then you will not be able to sit the assessment. For the English assessment you should bring pen and paper. For the Maths assessment you should bring pen, paper and a scientific calculator. For the Science assessment you should bring pen, paper and a scientific calculator. Q.
